West Bengal anti-corruption body inspects factories of TMC leader Firhad Hakim

A West Bengal anti-corruption commission inspected two factories owned by Firhad Hakim, a veteran Trinamool Congress leader and former minister. Hakim criticised the action, characterising it as "character assassination" and rejecting any implication of misconduct.
The inspection marks a fresh move by the state's graft watchdog against the prominent TMC figure. Hakim has held senior positions in the West Bengal government over multiple terms.
