Viral Video of Sleeping Passengers at Bengaluru Airport Sparks Debate on Public Behaviour

A video filmed at Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has sparked online debate after capturing passengers resting on floors, benches and open spaces within the terminal. Digital creator Aafreen Ahemadi shared the footage on Instagram, drawing widespread attention and dividing social media users on whether the scenes reflect poor public etiquette or unavoidable realities of modern air travel.

The video highlights the contrast between Terminal 2's striking architecture—praised for its eco-friendly design, extensive greenery, hanging gardens and spacious walkways—and passengers seen lying on cement seating structures using luggage as pillows. The creator's caption, "No matter how international the airport becomes, we will still remain desi," added a humorous tone that resonated with viewers and drove the video's viral spread.

The footage has prompted mixed reactions online, with users debating questions of civic sense and passenger conduct in public spaces.
