Bengaluru Development portfolio remains contested among Congress leaders

The Bengaluru Development portfolio has become a point of contention among senior Congress leaders in Karnataka. D.K. Shivakumar, who previously held the portfolio as Deputy Chief Minister, Bengaluru Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy, and Krishna Byre Gowda have been competing for the position, with none appearing satisfied with the current arrangement.
The portfolio is considered one of the most sought-after ministerial positions, reflecting its significance in the state's political hierarchy and governance structure.
