Tigress T138 relocated to Buxa Tiger Reserve from Bihar

A three-year-old tigress, identified as T138, has been relocated from Bihar's Valmiki Tiger Reserve to Buxa Tiger Reserve. The translocation marks the beginning of phased efforts to establish a viable, self-sustaining tiger population at Buxa.

The movement is part of a broader wildlife management strategy to strengthen tiger conservation across reserves and ensure genetic diversity within populations.
