BMRCL opens global bidding for Namma Metro Phase-3 Orange Line consultant role

The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has invited global firms to bid for consultancy services on the Namma Metro Phase-3 Orange Line project, more than two years after the scheme received approval.

The 41.3-km Orange Line is designed to serve major arterial roads including Outer Ring Road West and Magadi Road, addressing chronic traffic congestion in the city. The project is expected to provide significant relief on some of Bengaluru's most congested routes.

The consultancy tender marks a step forward in the project's execution timeline, though detailed implementation schedules and cost estimates are yet to be formally announced.
