Brazil seek first World Cup 2026 win against Haiti in Group C clash

Brazil will aim to secure their first victory in the FIFA World Cup 2026 when they take on Haiti in Philadelphia on Friday. The five-time champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Morocco in their opening match and need a win to strengthen their position in Group C.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti's side struggled with firepower in their last game, with Neymar Junior sidelined by injury. Defensive issues also emerged, with experienced midfielder Casemiro replaced during the match. Brazil will rely on goalkeeper Alisson Becker and forwards Vinicius Junior and Raphinha to deliver against Haiti.
Brazil are ranked sixth globally and have dominated previous meetings with Haiti, making them clear favourites. Haiti, ranked 85th, are appearing in only their second World Cup and lost their opening fixture.
