BRS attacks Telangana CM over land ownership allegations

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has intensified its attack on Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, levelling allegations regarding land ownership and his family's background. BRS charged that Revanth and his family "belong to Bihar" and came to Hyderabad to "loot" the state's historical wealth from the Nizam era.

The political escalation marks a fresh round of accusations between the ruling Congress government and the opposition BRS, which governed the state until late 2023. The charges focus on property dealings and questions about the CM's family's origins.
