BRS MLC Thatha Madhu arrested as political tensions escalate in Telangana

Telangana's BRS MLC Thatha Madhu was arrested as political tensions mounted during the assembly session. The arrest followed an incident on the opening day of the House session when BRS legislators were stopped by police near the Assembly's main gate.

The incident sparked a political row between the BRS and the state government. BRS has raised concerns over the police action against its lawmakers, viewing the arrest and gate stoppage as escalating pressure on the opposition party.
