Building collapse in Gandhinagar kills several, rescue ops underway

A partial building collapse occurred around 9:15 p.m. at an under-construction commercial complex called 'Bosky The Empire' in Gandhinagar's Kudasan area. An iron structure between two units fell suddenly, with 10-12 workers feared trapped under debris and metal framework.

Rescue operations are in full swing with five fire brigade vehicles and specialist rescue teams on site. Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi visited the location to assess the situation. Firefighters are working to remove heavy iron structures and concrete to reach trapped workers.

Several injured persons have been taken to hospitals. Emergency teams continue efforts to locate and rescue those still missing under the rubble.
