Central team to visit Bihar on September 16 to assess flood damage

A central government team is scheduled to visit Bihar on September 16 to assess the damage caused by recent floods. According to the Bihar Disaster Management Department, the floods have impacted over 49.36 lakh people across 88 blocks in 15 districts of the state.

The visit aims to evaluate the scale of destruction and coordinate relief and rehabilitation efforts. The assessment will help determine the quantum of assistance and support required from the Union government.
