China scales back troops along LAC amid improved India ties

China has scaled back its military deployment along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with India, reducing troop numbers to 10 Arms Brigade, according to reports. The move comes as ties between the two nations show signs of improvement after a period of heightened tensions.
The reduction in military presence reflects an easing of border pressures that have marked India-China relations over recent years. The development suggests efforts by both countries to stabilize their contentious frontier.
