CM Mohan Yadav Rebukes Education Officials Over Failed Response to Rahul Gandhi Query

Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav conducted separate review meetings with officers from school education, higher education, general administration, and women and child development departments at Mantralaya on Wednesday. He questioned school education officials over their failure to provide a suitable response to an issue raised by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, which pertained to selected teachers.
During the meetings, officials reported that while targets for scooty and laptop distribution had been met, the department was lagging in fee reimbursement under the Right to Education. The CM directed immediate action on this front and instructed that Rs 3,800 crore allocated for Sandipni School could be reallocated to benefit other schools. Officials also noted that 40,000 promotions could be made after TET exam clearance.
The CM separately reviewed the higher education department's approximately 3,000 vacant posts across universities. He also met women and child development officers to review nutrition supply status ahead of a one-year tender floatation, emphasizing that supplies must not be disrupted.
