Congress shares video of man consuming poison outside DC office, criticizes AAP over Punjab drug crisis

Congress party's poll in-charge for Punjab Rajat Pilot shared a video showing a resident of Namol village consuming a poisonous substance outside the Deputy Commissioner's office. According to Pilot, the man, identified as Jagga Singh, had been posting videos against drug abuse and faced threats and harassment for his activism.
Pilot used the incident to question the accountability of the AAP government and state administration, stating that such occurrences contradict official claims about creating a drug-free Punjab. The video and accompanying statement have triggered a political row over the handling of the drug menace in the state.
