We were junior alliance partner: Dhillon rejects AAP's drug menace charge

Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Dhillon has rejected the Aam Aadmi Party's allegations regarding the drug menace in the state during the 2007-2017 period. Dhillon contended that his party held only a junior position in the alliance government at that time, implying limited responsibility for addressing the issue.
The AAP has previously blamed the previous administration for failing to tackle drug trafficking and addiction in Punjab. Dhillon's response shifts focus to the power dynamics within the coalition, suggesting that primary accountability lay with the senior alliance partner.
