Drunk Driving Accused Remanded in Fatal Accident Case

Police in Srikakulam have remanded a drunk driving accused in connection with a fatal accident. The case, initially registered as Crime No. 30/2026 at Srikakulam Traffic Police Station, was modified to include Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita following a formal complaint filed by Rajasekhar, the son of the deceased victim Thaudu.

The charges were enhanced after investigation into the incident. The accused remains in custody as proceedings continue.
