Farmers await compensation for NICE Road Project: Kumaraswamy

Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has raised concerns over pending compensation for farmers affected by the NICE (Northern Integrated Corridor on Electronics) Road Project in Karnataka.
Kumaraswamy listed his demands, calling for an immediate halt to what he termed unauthorised toll collection by NICE. He also urged the government to take over the road project through legislative action.
The NICE corridor, a major infrastructure initiative in Bangalore, has faced criticism over land acquisition and compensation issues affecting agricultural communities in the region.
