15 workers rescued after iron slab collapse at Gandhinagar construction site
An iron slab collapsed at a construction site in Gandhinagar around 9 p.m., trapping multiple workers underneath. The slab, being erected between two buildings, fell suddenly during construction work.
Rescue operations led to the recovery of 15 workers from the debris. Of those rescued, 12 were hospitalised for treatment of their injuries. Authorities are investigating the incident.
