GBA notice leads to discovery of decomposed body; husband arrested for murder

A Greater Bengaluru Authority notice directing owners of vacant sites to maintain cleanliness of their properties led police to the discovery of a decomposed woman's body. The finding eventually led to the arrest of the woman's husband on murder charges weeks later.

The case emerged from routine enforcement action by the GBA, which had issued notices to property owners. During the compliance process, authorities discovered the body on the premises, triggering a criminal investigation.

Police subsequently arrested the husband as the prime suspect in connection with the woman's death. The investigation revealed circumstances linking him to the fatality.
