Haryana detains Tijara councillors ahead of chairperson vote: Rajasthan Congress

Congress leader Imran Khan alleged that councillors travelling from Himachal Pradesh to participate in the Tijara Council chairperson election were detained in Haryana. The election for the chairperson position was scheduled for 3 pm on Monday. Khan's allegation suggests the detentions were timed to prevent the councillors from casting their votes in the election.
