Hyderabad's Golden Ganesha Idol Adorned With 24K Gold and 3.83 Lakh American Diamonds

Hyderabad's Lee-Chee Ka Raja 2026 Ganpati idol made a grand arrival at Begum Bazar on September 9, drawing large crowds of devotees. The idol, though not exceptionally tall, stands out for its elaborate craftsmanship and luxurious materials.
The statue is adorned with 24-karat gold plating and an estimated 3,83,800 American diamonds, creating a striking golden shimmer that captivated worshippers. The design draws inspiration from both Mumbai's iconic Lalbaugcha Raja and the traditional aesthetics of Tirupati Balaji, blending two celebrated religious traditions.
The idol was created by Leechee Pearls Jewels, a jewellery shop based in Hyderabad. Videos of the grand procession have circulated online, showing the illuminated idol moving through festive celebrations at the Lee-Chee Ka Raja Ganeshotsav pandal amid significant devotional enthusiasm.
