Neel Rajesh Shah and Chandak Sakshi Tie for Top Rank in ICAI CA Inter September 2026 Results

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has published the toppers list for the CA Intermediate examination held in September 2026. Neel Rajesh Shah from Mumbai and Chandak Sakshi from Nashik have jointly claimed All India Rank 1, each scoring 502 marks and 83.67 per cent.

Shruti V from Chennai has secured AIR 2 with 492 marks, while Prem Agarwal from Surat holds AIR 3 with 490 marks. The results place students from several cities among the highest performers in the national ranking.

Alongside the toppers list, ICAI released group-wise pass percentages. Group I recorded a pass rate of 23.14 per cent, while Group II stood at 18.92 per cent. The pass rate for candidates who cleared both groups was 13.21 per cent.

The examination remains among the most demanding professional qualifications in the country, and the low pass percentages reflect its rigorous standards. Candidates who qualify at this stage move forward toward the next level of the chartered accountancy course.
