IIT-Delhi study links human activity to India's extreme weather patterns

A study by researchers at IIT-Delhi indicates that human activity is driving increasingly erratic weather patterns across India. The findings suggest that historical rainfall data may not be a dependable measure for predicting future climate risks as global warming intensifies.
According to the researchers, reliance on past rainfall statistics alone is insufficient for forecasting weather behavior in a warming climate. The study underscores the need for updated risk assessment methods that account for changing climatic conditions influenced by human-induced factors.
