Imran Khan's Sister Rejects Government Medical Reports, Demands Independent Care

Aleema Khanum, sister of jailed former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, has questioned the credibility of government medical reports and demanded that her brother receive independent medical care. She alleged that Khan was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in early June and rejected any medical assessment from the government hospital, claiming previous reports lacked credibility.
Aleema insisted that Khan should be evaluated and treated by independent specialists at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad instead. She raised concerns about why her brother required multiple eye-related procedures, particularly regarding a fifth intervention. Khan, the 74-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder, is reportedly undergoing treatment for retinal vein occlusion, an eye condition that can cause permanent vision impairment if untreated.
