India, Bangladesh resume joint trade talks after 3-year gap

India and Bangladesh have resumed talks through their joint working group on trade following a three-year hiatus. The bilateral dialogue aims to address key impediments to commerce between the two nations.
Port restrictions, non-tariff barriers and duty-free access arrangements are among the primary issues being discussed. These factors have contributed to ongoing trade imbalances between the neighbouring countries.
The resumption of talks signals a renewed effort by both governments to improve bilateral trade ties and resolve long-standing commercial disputes through dialogue and negotiation.
