India's INSWAREB seeks U.S. partnership on irradiated construction materials

The Institute of National Importance for Sustainable Water Resources and Environmental Biotechnology (INSWAREB) has proposed a partnership with U.S. universities to advance research on irradiated construction materials. The institute aims to gain access to Idaho National Laboratory's test reactor to validate concrete formulations made from industrial byproducts like fly ash and rice husk ash.
The collaboration would facilitate testing and validation of these sustainable materials under controlled radiation conditions, potentially opening new avenues for environmentally friendly construction practices using recycled industrial waste.
