India, Mauritius to expand trade cooperation scope

India and Mauritius will hold the second meeting of their high-powered joint trade committee to discuss expanding the product coverage under their economic cooperation agreement. The agenda will include addressing trade impediments between the two nations and exploring bilateral recognition arrangements for standards. The committee will also deliberate on mutual recognition agreements (MRAs) for professionals to ease cross-border movement of skilled workers. The move aims to strengthen bilateral economic ties and remove barriers to trade.
