India, Tanzania discuss deepening parliamentary cooperation

An Indian parliamentary delegation led by Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh is in Tanzania to explore avenues for enhanced cooperation between the two nations' legislatures. The delegation includes Lok Sabha members Anurag Thakur, Aparajita Sarangi, Sanjay Jaiswal, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Lata Wankhede, Bijuli Kalita Medhi and N. K. Premachandran, alongside Rajya Sabha MP Sasmit Patra.

The visit aims to strengthen parliamentary and people-to-people ties between India and Tanzania, with discussions focused on shared democratic values and mutual development priorities.
