Mumbai INOX executive defrauded of Rs 10.4 crore in WhatsApp scam; four arrested in Delhi
A Mumbai-based INOX executive fell victim to a sophisticated fraud scheme conducted via WhatsApp, losing Rs 10.4 crore in the process. Police arrested four suspects in Delhi in connection with the scam.
The fraudsters allegedly impersonated authorised persons and convinced the executive to transfer substantial sums of money through digital channels. The investigation led authorities to the national capital where the arrests were made.
