India ready to support peace efforts, Jaishankar tells Zelenskyy in Kyiv

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visited Kyiv and met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to discuss India's readiness to support peace efforts in the region. The visit underscored India's diplomatic engagement amid ongoing tensions.
Jaishankar's meeting came as Russian attacks on merchant shipping in the Black Sea have intensified, resulting in the deaths of five Indian nationals. The incidents have raised concerns about maritime security and the safety of Indian workers in the conflict zone.
