Mortality rate at Jayadeva Mysuru within normal range, says Karnataka minister

Karnataka Medical Education Minister Sharan Prakash Patil said there were no unusual deaths at Jayadeva Hospital's Mysuru unit. The minister noted that the mortality rate across Jayadeva's Bengaluru, Mysuru and Kalaburagi facilities ranges between 4 and 6 percent.

This figure is significantly lower than the national average mortality rate of 9 to 11 percent for cardiac care institutions, according to Patil.
