Actress Kunickaa Sadanand Joins JPSC, JSSC Aspirants' Protest in Jharkhand

Actress Kunickaa Sadanand joined the ongoing protest by Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) aspirants at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi on Sunday. She met protesting students, including one on hunger strike, and spoke to ANI about the demonstration.

Kunickaa appealed to the Jharkhand government to be transparent and accountable while addressing the aspirants' concerns. She urged students to give the government time to work toward a solution, while also calling on authorities to listen to the students' demands and provide written commitments.

The protest stems from alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC recruitment examinations. Protesters have demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation probe and plan to gherao Chief Minister Hemant Soren's residence on August 20, demanding his resignation.
