Karnataka CM launches Kalyana Karnataka Economy Mission at regional festival

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah unveiled the Kalyana Karnataka Economy Mission during the 79th Kalyana Karnataka Utsav in Kalaburagi on Thursday. The initiative aims to drive economic development across the region through targeted programmes.

The CM announced multiple projects spanning investment promotion, employment generation, healthcare expansion, urban infrastructure development, tourism promotion, and sports facilities. Among the healthcare initiatives is a dedicated drive to combat anaemia in the region, addressing a significant public health challenge.

The Kalyana Karnataka region, comprising districts like Kalaburagi, Raichur, Ballari, and Koppal, has historically lagged in development. The Economy Mission represents a focused effort to bridge regional disparities and accelerate growth across key sectors.
