The Supreme Court has paused coercive action against Tata Chemicals in a marine sanctuary case. A bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant, along with Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana, issued notice on the company's petition challenging a Gujarat High Court judgment from May 25.
The bench directed the Gujarat government to file its response by November 2. The court clarified that no coercive measures shall be initiated against Tata Chemicals pending the hearing of the matter.
