Kerala CM Satheesan Defends Private Flight Use, Says No Public Funds Involved

Kerala Chief Minister Satheesan has defended his use of a chartered flight, stating that no public money was spent on the journey. The clarification came after he faced criticism for taking a private aircraft from Bengaluru to Kozhikode on Monday to visit Malappuram, where a devastating flash flood had claimed five lives.
The CM's statement addressed concerns raised over the use of a chartered flight during an emergency response to the natural disaster. He emphasized that the flight was funded through personal resources and not from state exchequer.
