Kerala CM slams 'Hindi imposition' at women's panel workshop as MLAs walk out

Kerala's Chief Minister and state legislators staged a walkout from a National Commission for Women (NCW) workshop, protesting what they termed 'Hindi imposition'. The MLAs left the event after the programme was being conducted primarily in Hindi.
The CM criticized the language policy, stating it struck at the core of constitutional principles. The incident highlights ongoing tensions over the use of Hindi in official and semi-official forums in non-Hindi-speaking states.
