Kerala has undertaken a significant reorganisation of its police force, shifting senior officers across key positions. Putta Vimaladitya, who served as Inspector General of Police for Internal Security, has been transferred and appointed as Inspector General of Police for the North Zone.

The reshuffle involves the movement of Inspectors General of Police, Deputy Inspectors General and Superintendents of Police to critical postings across the state's law enforcement framework.
