KTR warns Congress against seeking KCR's resignation, recalls 2006 episode

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Tuesday cautioned the Congress party against pressing for Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's resignation. He referenced a 2006 political episode while making the warning.

Rao challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to visit Telangana to campaign with the party's 'Chatron ki Ghoonj' (echo of roofs) programme, suggesting the opposition lacks ground-level support in the state.

The remarks come as political tensions remain high between the ruling BRS and opposition Congress in Telangana.
