Landslides in West Sikkim; SSB evacuates residents as precaution

Landslides struck West Sikkim, prompting the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) to launch a rescue operation. The slide was detected from the SSB's 'G' Company post at Intake, following which a disaster rescue team was immediately deployed to the affected region, officials said. Residents in the area were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
