MAHE to sponsor 50 houses for meritorious students and Yakshagana artists

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will sponsor the construction of 50 houses to be donated to meritorious students and Yakshagana artists, according to a statement. Ranjan Pai praised the initiative undertaken by Kalaranga, which is overseeing the house construction and donation programme.

The homes are intended for poor meritorious students and practitioners of Yakshagana, a traditional art form from the coastal regions. The project aims to support both academic excellence and cultural preservation without publicity.
