Maratha Reservation Protest Enters Sixth Day as Supporters Block National Highways

The Maratha reservation protest entered its sixth day with supporters blocking major national highways across Maharashtra. Police reported a steady rise in the number of people converging at Antarwali Sarati, the epicentre of the agitation.

In solidarity with the ongoing protest, a bandh was announced in Jalna district on Thursday. The shutdown reflected widespread backing for the movement demanding reservation benefits for the Maratha community.
