Mexican Military Downs Drone Near South Korea's World Cup Training Camp

Mexican military forces detected and neutralised an unregistered drone that flew near the South Korean national soccer team's training camp in Guadalajara ahead of the World Cup match against Mexico, according to a federal official.
South Korea coach Hong Myung-bo termed the incident "unfortunate," noting it occurred during a closed-door training session. However, he said the drone appeared before tactical practice began, limiting its impact on preparations. Despite the disruption, South Korea later defeated Czech Republic in their opening Group A match.
FIFA announced it is investigating the incident. Mexico won its opening match on Thursday.
