When will monsoon reach Mumbai? IMD shares update
The India Meteorological Department has provided an update on monsoon arrival in Mumbai. June rainfall generally accounts for around 19 to 20 percent of the total precipitation India receives during the entire monsoon season from June 1 to September 30.
The remaining bulk of monsoon rains arrive in the subsequent months, making July, August and September crucial for the overall rainfall distribution across the country.
