Nagendra challenges BJP to face him in people's court

Karnataka Chief Minister Nagendra has challenged the BJP to face him in what he calls the 'people's court'. Claiming to have been targeted by what he describes as the 'Manuvadi' BJP, Nagendra appealed to the party to allow him to contest from Ballari Rural constituency once more.

Nagendra said contesting again would give him the opportunity to clear himself politically. The remarks come amid ongoing political tensions between the ruling Congress-led government and the opposition BJP in the state.
