Netanyahu Says Israel Destroyed Hezbollah Strongholds, Vows Continued Action

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that Israel has destroyed major Hezbollah strongholds on the Beaufort Ridge and Ali al-Taher Ridge in Lebanon. He stated that Israel will continue dismantling terrorist infrastructure in the security zone and removing threats to the state.

Netanyahu warned adversaries that failure to heed lessons would result in heavier blows, adding that work remains to be completed. His statement came as Lebanon-Israel negotiations continue, with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun reporting progress on border issues and prisoner returns during recent Rome talks.
