BJP Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Spreading Chaos, Draws Parallels to France Protests

Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia has launched a sharp attack on the Congress and other opposition parties over their protests linked to the controversy surrounding the SIR and the Chief Election Commissioner. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Bhatia called it unfortunate for India that its Leader of the Opposition is irresponsible, immature and, in his words, a traitor, and said such a description was not wrong.
Bhatia further alleged that the model of chaos and betrayal being pursued by Rahul Gandhi has foreign links. Citing media reports, he claimed that the events in France and the regime change there are connected to 101 organisations spread across nine countries, including India.
Drawing a link to an organisation he named in his remarks, Bhatia said the protests were merely a pretext and that the opposition's real aim was to spread disorder. He alleged that the organisation, which he described as one that spreads chaos, posted on behalf of Rahul Gandhi on October 6, and that it interferes in India's internal affairs and makes baseless criticisms of its democracy. He further claimed that this body is linked to the Progressive International.
Bhatia also alleged that the Progressive International has ties to 10 Janpath, citing a meeting in April 2025 with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, which he said Rahul Gandhi and the Congress had posted. Political opponents have not verified these claims in the material available here.
