Dedicated Officer To Be Posted At Each Accident Hotspot In Prakasam

Andhra Pradesh police will assign dedicated officers to accident hotspots in Prakasam district to improve road safety and reduce accidents. The move is part of broader efforts to enhance surveillance and quick response at high-risk locations on national highways.
Superintendent of Police V. Harshavardhan Raju said officials would ensure that CCTV cameras installed on national highways remain operational at all times. The combination of on-ground officer presence and functional surveillance systems aims to deter rash driving and enable faster assistance during emergencies.
