India's first high-altitude snow leopard safari launched in Ladakh

Ladakh has inaugurated India's first high-altitude wildlife safari, which showcases snow leopard trails and emphasizes community involvement in conservation. Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena highlighted the need to balance wildlife preservation with developmental activities in the region.
The Snow Leopard and High-Altitude Nature Conservation Society is overseeing the project in coordination with local forest departments.
