RBI to expand retail forex access with five new currency pairs

The Reserve Bank of India will expand its FX-Retail platform by adding five new currency pairs—euro, British pound, Swiss franc, Canadian dollar and Emirati dirham—to broaden retail access to foreign exchange trading.
The central bank has also signalled plans to include additional currency pairs in the coming period, including the Japanese yen, Australian dollar, Singapore dollar, Hong Kong dollar and New Zealand dollar, further diversifying the currency bouquet available to retail investors.
