Saudi Crown Prince urges Trump to avoid further Iran strikes

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has urged US President Donald Trump to refrain from launching additional military strikes against Iran, according to reports. During a phone call on Saturday, MBS conveyed concerns about large-scale attacks, particularly those targeting Iran's energy infrastructure, amid rising regional tensions.
Saudi Arabia sought clarity on Washington's military plans and appealed for restraint instead of escalation. Riyadh fears that major attacks on Iran could trigger retaliatory strikes on Gulf energy infrastructure, potentially dragging the region into a wider conflict that threatens global energy supplies and regional security.
Saudi state media confirmed the leaders spoke and stated that MBS stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomatic solutions to reduce tensions and prevent broader regional conflict.
