SBI approaches High Court over state's sale of five acres allotted land

The State Bank of India has approached the High Court challenging the state government's decision to sell five acres of land that was earlier allotted to the bank. SBI claims the land was granted to it and the state government's subsequent sale of the property violated the original allotment terms.
The case centres on the legality of the state's action in disposing of land that had been designated for SBI's use. The bank's petition seeks intervention from the court to address what it considers an unjustified alienation of the allotted property.
